Article 3- Skywalk

The Skywalk is the first ever cantilevered glass walkway which is suspended above a 4,000+ overhang of the grand canyons floor and is located 25 meters out from the perimeter. The final test was conducted and the structure passed engineering requirements by 400 percent, enabling it to withstand the weight of 71 fully loaded Boeing 747 airplanes (more than 71 million pounds). One hundred and twenty people will be allowed on the bridge at a time. Admittance is first come basis.

Article 2- West Link M7

The M7 which stretches for more than 40km’s around Sydney’s suburban fringe is a giant motorway which rings the bulk of the traffic from Sydney’s inter-capital route and links the M2 and M5 which links the north and south. This gives us a bypass to Sydney as part of the inter-capital route system and shared path with its own bridges and lighting. Considered a success and has won major engineering awards, finished ahead of schedule and so far has received very little to no bad reports. Overall this was a simple, well designed/ constructed through out this entire duration.

Article 1- CH2, the City of Melbourne’s Council House No. 2

The city of Melbourne’s Council House 2, this building is one of Australia’s first example of architecture that is directly based on biomimcry. Almost the entire building has been examined, changed from its first basic principles and then redirect to a true to form and fundamental “laws of nature”.This has implications for the building’s architectural form and for all the very sophisticated engineering within it. The composition of this building – its skin, its bones, its very innards – has been subjected to rigorous reappraisal to attune it to natural processes.
